Emirates Airlines new baggage limits are coming into effect on February 4th. According to UAE based Gulf News report, Emirates Airlines is bringing the following changes to the baggage allowances for flight tickets February 4th. Confirmed bookings for travel dates before February 4th will remain unaffected by this change.
Emirates New Baggage Limits
- Baggage allowance for tickets in the ‘Special’ category will be reduced to 15 kilograms from 20 kilograms
- allowance for tickets in the ‘Saver’ category will be reduced to 25 kilograms from 30 kilograms
- Weight allowances apply on all Emirates routes, except those for travel to and from destinations in the Americas
- Africa region is exempted from this change.
Baggage allowance for tickets in the ‘Flex’ and ‘Flex Plus’ will remain unchanged at 30 kilograms and 35 kilograms respectively. Allowances for business and first class remain unchanged.
